I woke up with my heart pounding in my chest. They took my 𝔣𝔯𝔢𝔢𝔡𝔬𝔪 — my life!

Find her. Is she here? Am I?

I scampered through the house, my bark urgent. Scratching and clawing at the door, I desperately want it to open.
My barks echoed through the quiet house.

Suddenly, another door swings open. Auntie emerged, looming over me with a stern look.

My tail, which had been wagging furiously with hope, now drooped between my legs.

I whimper softly, looking up at her with pleading eyes, and then my head swings back to my human’s door.

Open! “Yap!”
