I am horrible at adhering to proper tense usage. I flowed effortlessly between past, present, future, and back in many of my stories. I also tend to use a lot of adverbs. I am indeed an editor's worst nightmare. But I smile rather sweetly as I hold my manuscript to them for the first time. They find it very hard to get angry with me.
