As an editor on a pub, the detectors are also AI and are flawed. False positives and False negatives abound. Interestingly, it takes a human to know a human of time. But then again, I've heard many stories of editors and teachers telling folks they've used AI or plagiarised when that was not the case.

As for me, I prefer not to spend my time sniffing folks out (except when I'm in my pub editor role). I let them be the humans acting as a human that they are.
