She was going along her merry way when she heard it.

Today’s random word is morning.
She breezed past the doorman and custodian. They were chatting in the lobby of her apartment building.
She pressed the elevator button, humming a calypso tune as she selected the ninth floor.
What a fabulous morning! Can this day get any better?
A deep voice with a British accent boomed from the hallway, the owner out of sight.
“WAIT!”
Her heartbeat sped up, and her eyes grew wide.
Who was that? she thought as the doors closed.
Yasmin was unaware that she crossed paths with the owner of the voice. She crossed him three times in the last three minutes.
